Martin Riley, Managing Partner
Martin founded Strategic Growth Network with the goal of bringing his wealth of experience, knowledge, and tools to growth-minded business owners. His experience in a variety of industries gives him the depth and breadth of knowledge to help your company succeed.
Martins extensive financial experience combines the skills of financial analysis with hands on experience in managing the financial affairs of small businesses. With 13 years in the commercial banking industry, Martin has been trained by the largest and most well-known banks in the United States, and has provided excellent service for his clients while helping them structure and acquire capital. While CFO for a wireless telecommunications general contractor, Martin's financial expertise fueled the growth of the company from four employees to over twenty. Martin learned the value of hard, quality work and developed an appreciation for the dedication and struggles of the small business owner while working in the family machine shop in his youth values that have served him and his clients well during his career.
Martin is an active leader in his community, sitting on the board of The Friendship Club, participating in student ministries and youth athletics. He enjoys spending time with his family in Cedar Ridge.
As one of the founding partners of Strategic Growth Network, Dave brings a wealth of experience working with business owners, wealth-orientated individuals, and real-estate investors. He has worked with various industries, including medical and dental multi-practitioner entities, manufacturing companies, wholesale distributors, software developers, non-profit, entertainment industry, and other concerns. Prior to becoming a CPA in 1989, Dave worked as a manufacturing analyst for an aerospace manufacturer. That experience, combined with his accounting knowledge, allows Dave to understand a company's operations and goals, and to provide meaningful contributions. Dave has provided consulting services to clients ranging in size from small, closely held companies to large, complex corporate organizations. His experience includes working with both start-up enterprises and rapidly expanding organizations. Dave holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.
George provides extensive tax services to clients, and is also the key member of the firm's business valuation team. He has a Master of Science in Taxation and he is Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). George is an active member of the Gold Country Estate Planning Council and the Auburn Rotary Club. He is also a member of the Sacramento Estate Planning Council and the Tax Section of the AICPA and the local chapter of the CalCPA. In addition, he is a member of the statewide Business Valuation Section of the CalCPA.
